The Bahria University Journal of Islamic and Society (BUJIS) aims to provide an academic platform for researchers, educators, and students to share insights and publish significant findings. This initiative seeks to enhance research in Islamic Studies by offering quality material to those interested in exploring the intersection of Islam and society.
 
Objectives
The journal's objective is to address contemporary issues in the light of Islamic principles found in its primary sources. It aims to provide scholarly insights that develop an strong relationship between the academic and intellectual communities engaged in Islamic Studies.
 
Scope
BUJIS is a print and online research journal published by the Department of Islamic Studies, Humanities and Social Sciences School (H&3S) at BUKC, in alignment with HEC policies. It serves as a platform for postgraduate students, scholars, and professors to publish their research on contemporary issues of the societies. The journal reflects an international perspective by welcoming contributions from researchers worldwide. As an interdisciplinary biannual journal, BUJIS focuses on socio-Islamic studies and aims to publish peer-reviewed articles that address various aspects of daily life and academic inquiries. It includes diverse branches of knowledge relating to Islam and society, including the Holy Quran, Sirah and Hadith of the Prophet ﷺ, Uloom-ul-Quran, Uloom-ul-Hadith, Fiqh & Usool-e-Fiqh, Study of Religions, Ilm-ul-Kalam, Sufism, and the exploration of contemporary issues from an Islamic perspective.
